Here you will find a very basic guide to aircraft identification through the study of silhouettes and general characteristics/shapes of both friendly and enemy aircraft.

Friendly Aircraft

It is of the utmost importance that you memorize the shapes of your allies aircraft! Knowing friend from foe will most definitely effect the outcome of battle.

Enemy Aircraft

It is even more important to be able to positively identify the aircraft of your enemy!

Knowing your enemy will allow you to identify them at greater distances, allowing you more time to set up your attack.
