Welcome to JG 51!

Jagdgeschwader 51 is a War Thunder and IL-2 Sturmovik based group that is dedicated to realism in flight simulators and historically-based events. We train regularly to improve our skills as pilots and to form a cohesive unit of friends and fellow aviation and history fans, creating a fun and friendly gaming environment for everyone involved.

        Our primary focus is the German aviators and aircraft of World War 2, flying mostly the Messerschmitt Bf-109 and the Focke-Wulf Fw-190 series of aircraft, with a mix of other Luftwaffe and Italian aircraft when needed. We participate in a wide variety of events that include Aviators of War, AFHC, SiS and other War Thunder competitive groups, along with the occasional air support mission for our tanker friends from the 503rd.

        All players are welcome to apply for membership in JG 51. Our group is made up of players from around the world, some experienced, while others are new to flight simulators. We offer training to those new players and able wingmen to those already experienced in the way of simulator combat.
